Debrah Kayla Sterling: (by day) holds occupation as a counselor/advisor (and by soft light of evening) aspires to become the William Adolphe Bouguereau of the printed page. Residing in the South, she shares raspberry lollipops with her "son"; a silly cat named Mr. Tinkmon, and she shares cucumber salads with her "daughter" who happens to be a yellow Bearded Dragon named Lizzarbeth. DK loves the mysterious and unexplained; chocolate in all varieties; the smell of books; the sound of music; spirited dolls by artist/designer Mel Odom, Crees & Coe, and Hildegard Gunzel; western wear with silver buckles; long walks in a big rain, and any movie starring Russell Crowe. She is partner/manager of recording artist Andrius M., and now has an internet home of her own, thanks to the beautiful dedication of Artisan Studio, and the vibrant heart of artist Frank Messa for lending his colourful vision. She is also co-editor of the new web 'zine-- TOSSED SALAD, which is happily hosted alongside fellow poetess/web-mistress/friend extraordinare, C.E Laine.

Debrah's poetry has been published in several poetry collections and periodicals such as: Word Rind, Bent Paper Clip, Winter's Wren, and Alpha Chronicals, as well as a variety of forums such as: FZQ, Mark Everett's-- (this) poetry site, The Eclipse, Verse Libre Quarterly, Erosha, Painted Poetry, Moondance, Poetry Super Highway, Poetry Tonight, The Poet's Canvas, Windows of The Soul, The Writing Forum, and Poetfest, among others. Her poem, Impressions, was chosen by Burrell Inc. as the dedication for their publication titled Award Winning Portraits Of Children.  Accolades include: the 'Gallery of Poets Honors' from FZQ, Editor's Choice (Winter's Wren), Best of Theme (Word Fair), Award of Merit (All About Poetry), The Write Award (The Write Time), Honorable Mention (Pen & Pencil), Alpha Award of Merit (Alpha Chronicles), and the 'Poetic Vision Award' from The Poetry Tree.
